Job summary

Jet Aviation in Madrid seeks an experienced engineer specializing in aircraft acoustics and SEA modelling to join our Stress Engineering team. You will build SEA models of cabin interiors, compare results with ground and flight data, and drive acoustic improvements using materials and processing tools.

You will develop Python and VBA tools to automate modelling, post-processing, and reporting, contributing to standards and continuous improvement across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, preferably aviation/aerospace.
• Experience in aircraft acoustics, vibration, or related disciplines is valued.
• Proficiency with SEA modelling and acoustic tools; ability to compare with test data.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Advanced Acoustic Simulations: Build, run, and maintain SEA models of aircraft cabins to estimate interior noise levels.
• Connect Simulation with Testing: Compare simulation results with ground, flight, and laboratory test data.
• Develop Practical Engineering Solutions: Recommend acoustic improvements and materials for cabin noise performance.
• Improve Tools and Processes: Develop Python, VBA, and other tools to automate modelling and reporting.
• Support Project Delivery: Prepare technical reports and track progress against budgets and schedules.
• Contribute Across Engineering: Support CFD, rapid decompression, flight physics, and other topics.
