Job summary

SOGECLAIR in Sevilla is seeking a Junior Static Stress Engineer with 2-5 years of experience in the aerospace industry. Your role will involve performing static structural analysis of aircraft structures using Finite Element Models (FEM) and supporting design teams with structural modifications.

We are looking for a Junior Static Stress Engineer (m/w/d) with 2-5 years of proven experience in the aerospace industry to join our team in Sevilla.

Candidates should be proficient in the following tasks:

• Perform static structural analysis of aircraft metallic and composite structures using Finite Element Models (FEM)
• Extraction of loads, stresses, generation of spectra and mission file
• Extraction of material data, geometry details and fastener specifications from part & assembly drawings
• Support design teams by assessing structural modifications, non-conformities and engineering changes
• Creation of FEMs using geometric data from part & assembly drawings
• Preparation of stress certification dossiers

About you:

• 2 to 5 years of proven experience in static analysis in the aerospace industry
• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Experience working with Aerospace OEM / Tier / Suppliers on Specific stress activities
• Languages: English B1 minimum and Spanish fluency
