Indra Space is seeking a senior avionics data engineer in Madrid to design, develop, and maintain avionics database architectures for space systems. You will define data models, ensure versioning and collaborate with OBSW, Operations, and AOCS teams.

The role requires 5–10 years of experience, strong Java/C++ skills, and a high level of English, with hybrid working in Madrid and global projects.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience in at least one avionics functional domain (OBSW, Operations, or AOCS).
• Proven experience in data management, organization, and versioning systems (Git or SVN).
• Strong programming skills in Java or other object-oriented languages (C/C++).
• 5–10 years of relevant experience.
• High level of English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain avionics database architectures for space systems.
• Define and manage data models, structures, and organization of avionics data.
• Ensure proper data versioning and configuration control using Git or SVN.
• Collaborate with avionics domain teams to ensure data consistency and integration.
• Support the integration of avionics databases into system architecture and workflows.
• Develop and maintain software components using Java, C++, or other OO languages.
• Coordinate activities with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Contribute to technical documentation with clarity and quality.
