Jet Aviation in Madrid, Spain, is seeking a Professional Mechanical/Production Engineer to join our completions and interiors team. You will contribute to bespoke cabin design and installation, blending engineering expertise with craftsmanship to set new standards in luxury aviation interiors.

Based in Madrid, you will lead and support design tasks, analyze challenges, and drive standards that improve quality and manufacturing efficiency.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in aviation or related field.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in completions projects.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written) essential.

Position Summary

Based in Madrid, Spain, you will be part of a world-class team known for delivering bespoke, museum-quality interiors for the most discerning clients in business aviation. Our completions and interiors specialists are artisans and engineers, blending technical mastery with creativity to set new standards in cabin design, comfort, and innovation.

What You Will Do

• Lead and support engineering tasks within both operational and production environments, focusing on the design and installation of cabin components and assemblies.
• Analyze engineering challenges and develop practical solutions from both mechanical design and production perspectives.
• Develop and implement standards and procedures to ensure the highest quality in mechanical design and production engineering.
• Drive workflow improvements across the Mechanical & Production Engineering organization, optimizing for manufacturing requirements, cabin design, or product support.
• Capture best practices and lessons learned, defining methods and tools to improve engineering data quality, reduce manufacturing costs, and enhance inventory and standards usage.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and represent Jet Aviation internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited university (preferably in aviation or a related field).
• At least 6 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in completions projects and participation in complex technical assignments.
• Strong understanding of engineering concepts, practices, and tools relevant to mechanical and production engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical tasks in highly collaborative, multicultural environments. Ideally during EVP, IR, or In-Service phases, including fuselage configuration and cabin standards.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is essential, as you will collaborate closely with global teams and leadership.

Our offer

At Jet Aviation, we value your dedication and expertise. For this role we offer a minimum annual gross salary of €32,000 with the potential for additional compensation based on your experience and qualifications.
