AIRE is seeking a Design Engineer specialized in certification to join our engineering team. The role involves carrying out major and minor modifications and repairs on aircraft. Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience and be qualified as an Aeronautical Engineer.

The job includes compiling compliance documentation, supporting stakeholders, and assisting in compliance verification. We offer a dynamic work environment with opportunities for personal and professional development.

Formación

• At least 3 years in a similar role with design and certification activities experience.
• Track record of participation in cabin safety, structures, and/or avionics.
• Experience working on aircraft and conducting surveys is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Compile compliance demonstration documents and activities as per Part 21.
• Support manufacturing, production, and procurement areas.
• Attend working party phases/installations on A/C.
• Assist CVEs in compliance verification.
• Report project certification activity progress.
• Report issues impacting Design Organization.

AIRE is an aeronautical organization based in Madrid, Spain with over 20 years in the aviation business that delivers Cabin upgrade solutions for the modification of in-service aircraft through our design, (21J), Production (21G) and Maintenance (Part 145) approvals to airlines, lessors and MROs worldwide.

About the Role

We are looking for a Design Engineer specialized in certification to join our growing engineering team to carry out major (STCs) and minor modifications and repairs on large and small aircraft and rotorcraft.

Responsibilities

• Compile and ensure the adequacy and consistency of compliance demonstration documents and activities subject to approval are prepared in compliance with the certification and environmental protection requirements as required by Part 21
• Support transversal areas and stakeholders such as manufacturing, production and procurement.
• Attend working Party phases / Installations on A/C
• Assist CVEs in their compliance verification activities
• Report to the Project Coordinator with the progress of certification activities
• Report to the HIMF and SM any issues impacting the Design Organization

Qualifications

• Aeronautical Engineer qualified in a recognized discipline
• At least 3 years in a similar role, a track record of previous participation in design and certification activities (cabin safety, structures and or avionics) working on Airbus and/or Boeing is a must
• Experience working on aircraft and conducting aircraft surveys is a plus
