Zurich Insurance Group in Barcelona seeks an Investment Accounting & Reporting Associate Director to lead subledger activities and oversee IFRS, NAIC and US tax reporting. You will drive month-end close, complex issue resolution and automation initiatives across Finance, Investment Management and Operations.

You’ll apply deep technical knowledge of investment accounting, governance and controls, coaching teams and delivering high-quality reporting for auditors and business partners.

Formación

• Bachelor's in Investment Accounting or Finance, with 5+ years relevant experience for a senior role.
• Proven knowledge of US GAAP, US Statutory and US Tax in practical reporting cycles.
• Strong IFRS understanding and broad investment product awareness.
• Experience with investment subledgers, posting logic, and close processes.
• Analytical mindset with ability to coach and lead associates.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Own the investment subledger; oversee security accounting, valuation and posting logic.
• Deliver a smooth month-end close and reporting for internal stakeholders and auditors.
• Serve as escalation point for complex issues and drive root-cause analysis.
• Apply IFRS, NAIC/US Statutory, US GAAP and US Tax knowledge to analyses.
• Prepare and review NAIC statutory investment schedules and tax inputs.
• Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives to enhance controls and efficiency.
• Drive digitalization and automation using BI, automation tools and AI agents.
• Develop internal controls and quality assurance across investment accounting activities.
• Coach and develop associates; promote consistent accounting standards.
• Collaborate with experts across Finance, Investment Management and Operations.
