We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant with strong English language skills to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. The role requires proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate financial information with team members, clients, and stakeholders in the UK and in the US.

What we’d like you to do

• Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain and update accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports; Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for improvement; Ensure timely submission of reports to management, highlighting key financial insights and recommendations.
• Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations, tax laws, and company policies; Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documentation and supporting information.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the development of budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring actual performance against projections; Help prepare variance analysis to explain differences between actual and forecasted results.
• Software and Systems: Use accounting software (SAP) to enter and track financial transactions.
