Job summary

Envision Energy is seeking a Remote Control Centre (RCC) Engineer to ensure optimal performance of global BESS and onshore wind fleets. You will operate in a 24/7 shift, handling advanced technical troubleshooting, remote interventions via SCADA, and serve as escalation point for turbine failures to minimize downtime and maximize asset availability.

The role requires 3–5 years in BESS/wind operations, strong SCADA proficiency, and OEM platform experience.

Qualifications

Education: Degree or higher vocational training in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years in BESS and/or wind energy operations with remote-control or senior technician experience.
Experience with SCADA software and onshore wind/turbine platforms from major OEMs.

Responsibilities

Act as escalation point for faults and monitor onshore wind farm operations in a 24/7 setting.
Perform deep-dive diagnostics using SCADA and proprietary software to address persistent errors and outages.
Execute remote-control sequences, safety resets, and coordinated restarts for grid compliance.
Coordinate alerts and communicate with back offices and field technicians during outages or grid constraints.
Analyze fault patterns, document resolutions, and mentor junior operators; contribute to LEAN initiatives.
