Job summary

Envision seeks a Remote Control Centre (RCC) Engineer to ensure optimal performance of global BESS and onshore wind farm fleets. You will operate in a 24/7 shift, handling advanced remote interventions via SCADA and serving as the escalation point for turbine failures to minimize downtime and maximize asset availability.

You will escalate complex faults, perform deep-dive diagnostics, and coordinate with back offices and on-site technicians.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Automation, or related field.
• Proven experience with SCADA systems and remote diagnostics.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Act as escalation point for complex faults in real-time wind farm and BESS operations.
• Conduct remote diagnostics using SCADA and proprietary software to troubleshoot issues.
• Perform advanced remote-control sequences, safety resets, and controlled restarts.
• Coordinate alerts and communicate with back offices and on-site technicians during outages.
• Document resolutions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
