Job summary

Emerson seeks an Engineer Turbine Control to develop, test, and optimize control features for wind turbines across the full engineering lifecycle. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve performance and reliability, using MATLAB/Simulink for simulations and testing.

You will analyze data, tune controllers, and support remote and on-site activities including commissioning. A bachelor’s or master’s in a related field with 2+ years of experience is required, with strong communication

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's in a relevant engineering field.
At least two years of engineering or development experience.
Practical experience with control-system development, testing, troubleshooting, or validation.
Proficiency with MATLAB and Simulink.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, validate, and release turbine-control features per requirements.
Develop and maintain configurations, test specs, and release docs.
Run simulations and tests to assess loads, performance, and controller behavior.
Analyze operational data and turbine logs to identify optimization opportunities.
Tune controllers in simulation and on-site when required.
Support prototype, retrofit, commissioning, and troubleshooting remotely and on-site.
Provide technical input for project planning, risk assessment, and customer discussions.
