Job summary
Vestas is seeking a Professional with strong embedded software and diagnostic skills to drive project delivery in an agile environment. You will develop advanced algorithms and embedded software for smart sensing and diagnostics within the Advanced Sensing & Diagnostics sub-module of Turbine Control Software.
Ideal candidates have a Master’s degree in software/engineering and 4+ years in embedded software and data analytics, with C++ and Matlab/Simulink experience, plus sensor engineering
Qualifications
- Master's degree in software, control, electrical engineering or a related field.
- 4+ years in embedded software and data analytics; experience with C++, Matlab/Simulink.
- Experience in sensor engineering and managing project sub-tasks.
- Strong understanding of physics and data analytics for turbine data.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical and turbine projects reliably within an agile framework from concept to deployment.
- Provide technical ownership and help the team adopt best practices.
- Design and develop advanced algorithms and embedded software for sensing and diagnostics.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify turbine performance issues and data anomalies.
- Shape and improve functional and non-functional software requirements for turbine control systems.
- Contribute to process improvements, software frameworks, and engineering tools.
