Job summary

Siemens Gamesa, part of Siemens Energy, is seeking an experienced R&D Program Manager to lead the 7.X New Product Development program. You will report to the Head of Platform and align Chief Engineers, Module Program Managers, and stakeholders to drive seamless execution from concept to market introduction under PLM@WIND governance.

You will own the integrated program plan, manage critical paths, milestones, risks, and budget adherence, while ensuring safety, quality, cost, and schedule targets

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading complex product development programs or large engineering projects in the wind industry (OEM), with fluency in PLM@WIND being essential.
• Strong program management expertise, including planning, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and executive reporting, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
• An engineering, technical, or management degree, complemented by a solid understanding of product development and lifecycle governance.
• Availability to travel a minimum of 40% of the time to various locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver the overall 7.X program, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, cost, schedule, and business targets.
• Drive program governance and PLM@WIND adherence, including milestone planning, Gate readiness, and risk management.
• Coordinate and align cross-functional teams, including Chief Engineers and Module Program Managers, to achieve program deliverables.
• Proactively manage the integrated program plan, resolving issues, dependencies, and resource constraints to ensure successful execution.
