Job summary

Siemens Gamesa seeks a software developer to join the turbine software team in Denmark. You will develop embedded C/C++ software for Linux-based systems that control wind turbines, collaborating with global stakeholders throughout the SDLC.

Emphasis is on robust, secure, high-performance code within an agile SCRUM/SAFe environment. You will engage in comprehensive testing, CI/CD practices, and potential AI-assisted programming while integrating hardware with software for reliable energy

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in C/C++ software development.
• Experience with Linux-based embedded systems and middleware.
• Knowledge of real-time protocols and cyber-security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded control software for wind turbines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and deliver software.
• Perform unit/integration/acceptance testing with CI/CD practices.
• Refactor code and participate in innovation initiatives and agile Scrum/SAFe practices.
• Support secure, high-performing software across fleet operations.
