Job summary

LEGO Group is hiring a Senior Associate, Programmatic Media to lead data-driven digital campaigns in Western Europe from Copenhagen. You will guide strategy, execution, and governance, partnering with internal teams and external partners to optimize media investments in line with brand and commercial goals.

You will apply expertise in programmatic platforms and privacy-aware approaches while fostering a culture of learning and collaboration across a high-performing team.

Qualifications

  • Shown experience in digital and programmatic media.
  • Proven success in media transformation, digital innovation, or data-driven marketing at scale.
  • Knowledge of the global media landscape, ad tech ecosystem, and evolving privacy/regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

  • Media Strategy & Visio n – Support in driving and delivering the LEGO Group’s Selection of key initiatives programmatic media strategy, ensuring alignment with brand, marketing, and business objectives across channels and other teams.
  • Investment Stewardship & Governance - Establish ensure global standards are followed and met, delivering the strongest return for the LEGO Group.
  • Team Leadership & Capability Building - Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing programmatic team, while coaching local teams on best practices, innovation, and executional excellence.
  • Stakeholder & Executive Influence - Serve as a subject matter expert for programmatic media, engaging with leadership, Brand Manager, key stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Innovation, Tech & Ecosystem Strategy - Stay at the forefront of industry trends, technologies, and platforms to future-proof our digital media strategy.

Join the LEGO Group as a Senior Associate, Programmatic Media, and support us in delivering data-driven, high-impact digital media campaigns that connect the LEGO Group with millions of fans in Western Europe. This role combines critical thinking, cross-functional partnerships, and platform expertise to help build our media approach in a fast-evolving digital landscape.

As a programmatic guide in Western Europe you’ll implement campaign strategy and execution, foster strong internal and external partnerships, and ensure our media investments deliver against both brand and commercial goals.

Core Responsibilities
  • Media Strategy & Vision – Support in driving and delivering the LEGO Group’s Selection of key initiatives programmatic media strategy, ensuring alignment with brand, marketing, and business objectives across channels and other teams. Including championing a data-driven, consumer-centric approach to media planning and buying that drives both long-term brand equity and short-term performance.

  • Investment Stewardship & Governance- Establish ensure global standards are followed and met, delivering the strongest return for the LEGO Group.

  • Team Leadership & Capability Building- Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing programmatic team, while coaching local teams on best practices, innovation, and executional excellence. This includes fostering a culture of collaboration, experimentation, and continuous learning.

  • Stakeholder & Executive Influence- Serve as a subject matter expert for programmatic media, engaging with leadership. Brand Manager, key stakeholders, and external partners to drive alignment and advocacy.

  • Innovation, Tech & Ecosystem Strategy- Stay at the forefront of industry trends, technologies, and platforms (e.g., AI, retail media, cookie deprecation) to future-proof our digital media strategy.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Shown experience in digital and programmatic media.

  • Proven success in media transformation, digital innovation, or data-driven marketing at scale.

  • Knowledge of the global media landscape, ad tech ecosystem, and evolving privacy/regulatory environment. Along with a proven track record of campaign deployment.

  • Measurable practical experience using essential tools such as The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, and DV360.

  • A desire to be curious and to learn and develop, both within the programmatic media specialism and more holistically.

  • A commitment to purpose-driven, ethical marketing in line with the LEGO Group’s values and mission.
