Job description

A warehouse worker is responsible for the efficient and safe operation of a warehouse facility. In this role you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing products within the warehouse. Your main duties will include, but are not limited to, loading and unloading trucks, picking and packing orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and keeping the warehouse clean and organized. To excel in this position you must have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. You should also possess good physical stamina as this job may involve lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods of time. Prior experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders
• Organize products within the warehouse according to established procedures
• Pick orders accurately and efficiently using handheld scanners or other equipment
• Pack orders neatly with proper labeling for shipping
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts or other machinery as needed
• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent vocational training or certification in warehousing is a plus
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or related field preferred
• Familiarity with inventory management software such as SAP or WMS systems is an asset
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods of time
• Basic math skills to accurately count inventory and perform calculations
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Good communication skills in English knowledge of Danish is a plus
