FashionUnited is seeking a Visual Merchandiser to enhance store experiences for VERO MODA across Germany. In this role, you will connect commercial strategies with daily execution in retail environments, ensuring visual standards are met through guidance and training of local teams. Your creativity will directly influence store layouts, product presentations, and customer flow, driving sales and enhancing overall store productivity.
The ideal candidate will have a strong retail merchandising background, effective communication skills, and a willingness to travel frequently. Join us to see your ideas come to life in stores and make a significant commercial impact.
Can you turn fashion, product stories and commercial focus into store experiences that are easy to understand and hard to ignore? Help our German retail teams bring VERO MODA to life in a way that is commercial, relevant and easy to execute. Own the look across stores and markets. Move the business through strong visual choices. Make it happen from idea to shop floor.
You will join a close and supportive team where Product, Planning and Retail come together. Within Visual Merchandising, you will work closely with the Visual Merchandising Manager while being part of a wider team of 10 colleagues across Buying and Planning. You will also collaborate with Marketing, Product and Country teams to ensure the right products get the right expression in stores. Our culture is friendly, open and energetic. We support each other, move fast and enjoy turning ideas into action. Together, we support approximately 320 stores across 10 European markets.
As our Visual Merchandiser, you will connect commercial plans with day‑to‑day store execution across Germany. You will work closely with the market, visit stores regularly and ensure our visual standards are clear, inspiring and easy to execute. This is not a desk‑based role. You will spend significant time in stores, working independently, guiding local teams and helping them bring the visual direction to life in real retail environments.
Training retail teams is a key part of the role. You will advise and coach colleagues, create practical roll‑out plans and support a learning‑by‑doing approach that helps teams understand not only what to do, but also why it matters.
You have a strong eye for fashion, but you also understand the commercial impact behind visual decisions. You know how to read a store, identify opportunities for improvement and use performance insights to strengthen execution.
This role requires someone with the experience and confidence to work independently in the market, communicate clearly and bring direction to life in collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders.
It would be an advantage if you have experience from fashion retail or lifestyle brands, have worked with Power BI or similar reporting tools, understand assortment planning and retail performance metrics, and speak German.
