As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer – Team Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the embedded software that powers our products while leading the daily operations of a talented engineering team. What You’ll Be Doing

• In this dual-role position, you'll balance hands-on engineering with team leadership responsibilities, helping drive both technical excellence and effective collaboration
• Design, develop, and optimize embedded software solutions in C and C++, with a strong focus on quality, reliability, and performance
• Lead the team's day-to-day activities, coordinating priorities, planning, and execution to support successful delivery
• Collaborate with hardware and software stakeholders to integrate, test, debug, and improve embedded solutions across the full development lifecycle
• Drive and continuously improve agile ways of working, helping the team stay focused, remove obstacles, and deliver value efficiently
• Provide technical leadership through architecture discussions, code reviews, coaching, mentoring, and support for team development
• You will work across the embedded software stack, from low-level drivers and platform components to application-layer functionality, helping create robust and scalable solutions for real‑world applications

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications

• Extensive experience in embedded software development, with strong proficiency in C and practical experience using Python and shell scripting for testing, automation, and development tools
• Experience working with RTOS environments, embedded Linux, or other real-time systems
• Solid understanding of hardware-software integration, embedded debugging, and target-side testing
• Experience leading technical teams, projects, or development activities in an engineering environment
• Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in any of the following areas would be an advantage:

• Low-level software development, including drivers, HAL layers, platform components, or system software
• Multi-core architectures, POSIX APIs, and resource-constrained embedded systems
• Industrial or automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet
• Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and continuous improvement practices
• These experiences can help you succeed in the role, but we recognize there are many paths to becoming a great Team Lead and embedded software engineer
