Job summary

CIP Fund Solutions is seeking an Associate to join the Copenhagen-based Valuation team. The role focuses on developing valuation methodologies across CIP funds and collaborating with corporate and regional teams to enhance financial modelling for renewables investments.

You will review discount rate assumptions and key inputs, participate in investment decision processes, and deliver detailed analyses on markets, hedging, and currency implications.

Qualifications

• University degree in economics or finance with around one year of financial analysis and valuation experience.
• Experience in private equity, top consulting firms, or multinationals is preferred, ideally in renewables.
• Strong theoretical understanding of valuation methodologies and ability to present complex concepts clearly to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal valuation methodologies for new types of investments
• Advising the business on valuation issues and maintaining CIP’s valuation framework with senior stakeholders
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses such as hedging, benchmarking, and risk assessment
• Develop and review financial models to ensure best practices
• Participate in FID for new assets by reviewing underlying business cases
• Prepare materials for senior management decisions
