Job summary

CIP Fund Solutions ApS, based in Copenhagen, is seeking a Senior Financial Controller to join our global energy infrastructure team. You will report to the VP of Global Controlling and Financial Reporting and contribute to consolidating group financial statements and related reporting processes.

You will lead monthly cost, balance sheet, and intercompany controlling, prepare consolidated statements, and drive improvements in reporting controls.

Qualifications

• MSc in Economics or Finance from a recognized institution.
• 3–5 years of full-time experience in audit, financial controlling or consultancy from a Big4 firm.
• Experience with consolidation and knowledge of Danish GAAP and consolidation principles.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with Business Central and/or OneStream is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monthly controlling of accounts including cost controlling, balance sheet controlling and intercompany controlling.
• Prepare and analyse consolidated financial statements and management reports.
• Drive improvements in reporting processes and financial controls.
• Collaborate with finance teams across the organisation to ensure best practices in group reporting.
• Work with the global capability centre and coordinate with local service providers for finance and corporate matters.
• Act as a contact for auditors and internal stakeholders.

Do you want to join a global leader in renewable energy infrastructure? If so, CIP Fund Solutions is looking for a Senior Financial Controller to join our office in Copenhagen.

Team

You will be a part of a team consisting of five skilled financial professionals and will support our financial strategy to align with CIP FS' ambitious long-term goals.

You will engage senior stakeholders to provide crucial financial insights across our platform companies and regions.

Role

Reporting to the VP of Global Controlling and Financial Reporting, you will contribute to the consolidation of the group's financial statements and related reporting processes. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality financial reporting and compliance with relevant accounting standards, and for supporting the business with accurate and timely insights.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Monthly controlling of accounts including cost controlling, balance sheet controlling and intercompany (IC) controlling
• Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements and management reports
• Driving improvements in reporting processes and financial controls
• Collaborate with finance teams across the organization to ensure best practices in group reporting
• Close cooperation with the global capability center (shared service center)
• Oversight and controlling of service provider activities and point of contact for local service providers responsible for finance and corporate matters
• Act as a contact for auditors and internal stakeholders

You

You have an MSc in Economics or Finance and 3-5 years of full-time experience in audit, financial controlling, or consultancy from a Big4 firm. You also have experience in consolidation and are motivated by building best practices, solving complex issues and developing the finance function.
