Job summary

CIP Fund Solutions in Copenhagen seeks an Associate for the Valuation team to help develop methodologies across CIP funds and support investment decisions with rigorous financial modelling.

The role requires a university degree in economics or finance and about one year of valuation experience, preferably from private equity, consulting, or multinational environments in renewables. Strong Excel/PowerPoint and English skills are essential.

Qualifications

• University degree in economics, finance, or a similar field.
• Approximately one year of experience in financial analysis and valuation.
• Solid experience from private equity, top consulting firms, or multinationals, ideally within renewables.
• Strong ability to present complex valuation methodologies clearly to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal valuation methodologies for new types of investments.
• Advise the business on valuation issues and maintain CIP's valuation framework with senior stakeholders.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses (hedging, benchmarking, risk metrics).
• Develop and review financial models to ensure best-practice implementation.
• Participate in the FID process by reviewing assumptions in underlying business cases.
• Prepare analysis and communications for senior management decision-makers.
