Job summary

Accenture in Copenhagen seeks a Utilities Strategy Manager to help clients navigate the energy transition and shape growth through data-driven strategies and market outlooks.

You will apply quantitative and qualitative analysis, lead senior workshops, and mentor junior colleagues in a global, fast-paced environment focused on sustainability and technology integration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience within top-tier management consulting and/or industry experience within the utilities sector.
• Ability to break down problems into logical parts and construct clear analyses using quantitative methods.
• Understanding of power markets and Nordic regulatory environment.
• Strong learning mindset and ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders in English and a Nordic language.

A Strategy Consulting Professional with experience in the renewables and utilities that understands the technical and regulatory nuances, while having a clear sense of the commercial dynamics that matter for our clients to succeed. You excel in using quantitative and qualitative analysis to support clients’ business, commercial, and/or technology strategies. Energetic, resilient, and passionate about serving clients, you love continuous learning. You break down complex processes into logical parts, offering clear reasoning and analysis. • Help clients navigate the energy transition with new business models, sustainability strategies, and market outlooks.
• Use quantitative and qualitative analysis to help clients enter new markets and drive growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 of years of professional experience within top-tier management consulting and/or industry experience within the utilities sector
• You have a flair for breaking down problems into logical parts and constructing clear reasoning and analyses, using quantitative analysis methods, statistics & data-driven thinking.
• Knowledge of how power markets work and grasp of market trends, incl. a deep understanding of the Danish/Nordic regulatory environment,
• You have energy and drive, a passion for continuous learning and mastering new topics, and an understanding of how forces like digital and the energy transition will shape the future business landscape.
• You are an effective communicator and a natural at appreciating diverse perspectives and bringing out the best in people
• You have a natural ability for building relationships, as well as the ability to communicate well with different stakeholders both internally and externally in English and in one Nordic language.
• You have a Master’s degree from a top-tier university in a relevant discipline, such as engineering, economics or business administration

Bonus points if:

• You have experience in a commercial or technical function in the industry or from a top-tier consultancy.
• You have strong quantitative skills, including familiarity with Excel/VBA , R, and/or Python and their respective data manipulation, statistical modelling, and visualization packages.
