Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S in Kalundborg, Denmark, seeks an Adv Utilities Professional to operate, maintain and develop its utility systems (HVAC, steam, compressed air, vacuum) to support GMP-compliant production with minimal downtime.

You will own daily operations, documentation, audits and cross‑functional collaboration with site teams, suppliers and technical partners. On‑the‑job training and career development are provided in a complex GMP environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or similar technical education; relevant for GMP settings.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC, utilities, and with BMS/FMS/CTS systems.
• Experience with GMP-regulated documentation, validation or technical support.
• Strong written communication; ability to produce clear, usable documentation.
• Working knowledge of GMP and ISO 9001 as applied to daily tasks.
• Collaborative, cross-functional stakeholder engagement and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and optimise HVAC, steam, compressed air and vacuum systems.
• Leverage BMS/FMS/CTS to monitor and improve building conditions.
• Ensure GMP compliance through validation, risk assessments and quality indicators.
• Write, update and review SOPs, service cards and maintenance docs; train colleagues.
• Present area outcomes in audits and inspections; escalate urgent issues.
• Lead process improvements and projects; plan and prioritise own tasks.
