Job summary

Lundbeck A/S in Valby, Denmark, is seeking a Manager for the Utility & Ventilation Team to lead a 16-person unit responsible for GMP-critical HVAC, central plants and related utilities across the Valby site.

You will balance daily operations with maintenance, lifecycle planning and continuous improvement, set priorities, ensure safety and compliance, and collaborate across Maintenance, QA, Production and Lab to deliver high uptime.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical education, e.g. Marine Engineer or similar.
• 5+ years' experience in utilities and/or HVAC in a technically complex environment.
• People management experience.
• Experience from pharma or another regulated industry; GMP experience is a clear advantage.
• Demonstrate strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 16, setting direction and priorities.
• Ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operation, maintenance and development of utility and ventilation systems.
• Balance day-to-day operations with maintenance, reliability, lifecycle planning and technical development.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Project Engineering, Quality, Production and Laboratory teams.
• Drive decisions across functions while balancing operations, technical risk and compliance.
