Job summary

SYBO in Copenhagen is seeking a Game Engineer to help deliver responsive gameplay for Subway Surfers using Unity and C#. You’ll collaborate with designers, artists and engineers to take features from concept through implementation and release, write maintainable code, and contribute to the health of the codebase and tools.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of OOP languages, primarily C#.
• Professional experience developing games, ideally on mobile.
• Solid hands-on experience with Unity.
• Good understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, algorithms and common design patterns.
• Experience collaborating with multiple disciplines to develop and deliver game features.
• Experience working with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience working in Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain gameplay features, systems, and content for Subway Surfers using Unity and C#.
• Collaborate with Designers, Artists, and other Engineers to take features from concept through implementation and release.
• Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to the long-term health of the Subway Surfers codebase.
• Review code and collaborate with other Engineers to share knowledge and maintain engineering quality.
• Debug and resolve technical issues across gameplay systems and live features.
• Contribute to improving the tools, workflows, and development practices used by the team.
