Job summary

Michelin seeks an Area Sales Manager to lead dealer business across Jutland and the Aarhus area from a home-based, field-focused role. You will spend about four days a week with customers and one day on planning, administration and virtual meetings, with occasional overnight stays.

You will own an existing portfolio, identify and win new opportunities, and drive profitable sales while strengthening Michelin’s position with customers. A driving license and Danish fluency are essential.

Qualifications

• Fluent Danish for customer dialogue and negotiation is required.
• Good professional English.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation and value-based selling skills.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted, long-term relationships with dealer owners, managers and sales teams, understanding their business, customer base and local market.
• Grow sales, Michelin share and customer profitability while defending the value of a premium offer.
• Plan purposeful customer visits, agree clear next steps, follow up consistently and maintain strong customer coverage.
• Prospect for new customers, manage the sales pipeline and convert opportunities into sustainable business.
