Job summary

Pentair Flow is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to deliver expert technical support to customers, suppliers, and sales offices. You will diagnose problems, advise on solutions, and coordinate service visits to maintain high customer satisfaction.

Your role includes maintaining databases and participating in training programs. The position requires electronics and mechanical know-how, 5–7 years in a similar role, and strong English, Danish, German, and French language skills.

Qualifications

• Must have MBO+ or HBO level education in mechanical/electrical/process technology.
• 5–7 years of work experience as a (Service) Engineer or similar role.
• Fluent/good proficiency in English, Danish, German, and French (speaking and writing).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to internal and external customers.
• Perform problem analysis and provide actionable advice.
• Optimize product quality and prepare service visits.
• Maintain internal databases for Pentair brands (Haffmans, Union, Witterman).
• Set up, manage, and provide internal and external technical training courses.
• Participate actively in project teams.
• Provide 24-7 remote and onsite support to customers.
• Occasional external maintenance, calibration, repairs, and commissioning; onsite audits of CO2 and Biogas upgrading plants.

As a Technical Support Engineer with Pentair you will provide Technical Support both internally with various disciplines and externally with customers, suppliers and sales offices to handle the support requests and to maintain and maximize our customer satisfaction, and guarantee continuity and consistency within the Technical Support department. This by means of telephone, written or on-site contact, whereby independent tinkering, adjustments, calibration, electrical connection as well as programming of various devices and machines can be an assignment. In this role you will report to the Global Operations Leader.

You Will

• Provide technical support to customers (internal as well external)
• Perform problem analysis and provide advice.
• Optimize product quality and provide support/prepare Service visits to customers.
• Maintain the Pentair - Haffmans, Union and Witterman information database.
• Setting up, managing, and providing internal and external technical training courses
• Participate active in Project teams.
• Participate in the technical support service to provide 24-7 remote and onsite service support to our customers.
• Perform occasional external maintenance, calibrations, repairs, troubleshooting and short commissioning of all equipment.
• Perform Onsite Audit on CO2 and Biogas upgrading Plants
• Willing to travel for short periods of time (25-40%)

Key Qualifications

• MBO+ or HBO education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering AOT or Process Technology.
• At least 5-7 years of work experience as a (Service) Engineer or in a similar role.
• Language skills, English (good speaking and writing skills), Danish(good speaking and writing skills) German (good speaking and writing skills) and French (good speaking skills).
• Good technical knowledge of Compressor Technology, Cooling Technology and PLC systems (Siemens).
• Flexible attitude, results-orientated, team player
• Knowledge of CRM systems
