Job summary

Terma Group is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to drive the development of Critical Infrastructure Protection solutions. You will serve as the technical lead across the full lifecycle, translating needs into system requirements and collaborating with software, hardware, mechanical, and systems engineering teams.

You will mentor colleagues, participate in proposals and estimates, and ensure alignment with operational needs. English fluency is required; a security clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• A degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field
• Extensive experience with multidisciplinary systems engineering and complex integrated solutions
• Experience collaborating with software development teams and working through the V-model lifecycle
• Knowledge of sensor technologies, system integration, and areas such as sensor fusion, computer vision, or signal processing
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead and primary customer interface for Technical matters across Critical Infrastructure Protection projects
• Translate operational needs into system requirements, solution designs, and engineering plans
• Drive system design, integration, verification, and validation across multiple engineering disciplines
• Coordinate stakeholders, ensuring technical alignment and traceability throughout the lifecycle
• Lead system-level testing activities and support ongoing evolution with Product Management and engineering teams
• Mentor and support engineering colleagues while contributing to proposals, project estimates and technical decisions
