Job summary

DESMI Danmark A/S seeks an experienced Technical Designer or Mechanical Engineering Technician to deepen expertise and shape solutions for marine and green transition industries. You will handle engineering drawings, mechanical design detailing, and manufacturing documentation, ensuring quality, cost awareness, and proper documentation across projects.

Ideal candidates have Creo experience, Windchill PLM familiarity, and strong knowledge of GD&T.

Qualifications

• Technical education in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Experience with machinery, pumps, rotating equipment, piping, or related systems.
• Experience with 3D CAD tools, preferably Creo, and Windchill PLM.
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerancing, and material specifications.
• Strong manufacturability, assembly, quality, and cost optimization understanding.
• Fluent in Danish and English.

We are looking for a curious, self-driven team player who takes ownership and enjoys solving technical challenges.

We also imagine that you have:

• Technical Designer, Mechanical Engineering Technician, Production Technologist, or equivalent education
• Manufacturing or apprenticeship experience is an advantage
• Experience with machinery, pumps, rotating equipment, piping, pressure vessels, or skid-based systems
• Experience designing machined, welded, cast, and sheet-metal components
• Experience preparing manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, layouts, and bills of materials
• Experience with 3D CAD software (Creo preferred) and PDM/PLM systems such as Windchill
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerancing, material specifications, and relevant standards
• Strong understanding of manufacturability, assembly, quality, and cost optimization
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Fluent in Danish and English
• Experience from cryogenic, liquefied gas, refrigeration, heat pump, or related industries is an advantage.
