Job summary

Uni-Tankers is seeking a Tanker Broker based at our Middelfart headquarters to drive commercial growth in chemical and product tanker markets. You will identify opportunities, secure cargoes, optimize schedules, and negotiate charter parties while expanding our global network.

You will collaborate with Chartering, Operations, and other functions; travel to customers and industry events will be expected. 5–10 years of chartering experience and strong market insight are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Fluent English; Danish language skills are preferred.

Driving commercial growth across global markets
As our new Tanker Broker, you will play an important role in developing and strengthening Uni-Tankers’ commercial position within the chemical and product tanker markets. Drawing on your market knowledge, industry network, and commercial mindset, you will identify new opportunities, build close relationships, and contribute to the effective operation of our fleet.

You will be based at our headquarters in Middelfart and work closely with colleagues across Chartering, Operations, and other business functions. Travel to customers, business partners, and industry events will be a natural part of the role.

In addition, your responsibilities will be:

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, brokers, and business partners
• Identify and secure profitable cargoes and vessel opportunities

Your Profile
We are looking for a commercially driven shipping professional who thrives in an international environment and enjoys creating value through strong relationships and market insight. You are curious and motivated by identifying opportunities and turning them into results, and you naturally build working relationships with colleagues, customers, and business partners alike.

We imagine that you bring 5-10 years of chartering experience within the chemical or product tanker market and have built a well-established network within the international shipping industry. You combine commercial instinct with a structured approach and are comfortable navigating complex negotiations and market dynamics.

Additionally, you:

• Possess an established network within the international shipping industry
• Demonstrate business acumen and negotiation skills
• Communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing. Danish language skills are preferred
• Have solid IT skills
