Job summary

Uni-Tankers is seeking a Tanker Broker to drive commercial growth across global markets from its Middelfart headquarters. You will develop relationships with customers and partners, identify profitable cargoes, and optimize schedules while negotiating charter terms.

You will leverage 5–10 years of chartering experience, a well-established international network, and strong market insight to expand Uni-Tankers’ presence.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of chartering experience within the chemical or product tanker market.
• Well-established network within the international shipping industry.
• Commercial mindset with a structured approach; comfortable navigating negotiations and market dynamics.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Danish language skills preferred.
• Solid IT skills and familiarity with shipping platforms.

Join Uni-Tankers as our new Tanker Broker and become part of a leading tanker owner/operator. In this role, you will combine your commercial skills and industry network to drive business, build customer relationships, and operate across global markets.

Driving commercial growth across global markets

As our new Tanker Broker, you will play an important role in developing and strengthening Uni-Tankers’ commercial position within the chemical and product tanker markets. Drawing on your market knowledge, industry network, and commercial mindset, you will identify new opportunities, build close relationships, and contribute to the effective operation of our fleet.

You will be based at our headquarters in Middelfart and work closely with colleagues across Chartering, Operations, and other business functions. Travel to customers, business partners, and industry events will be a natural part of the role.

In addition, your responsibilities will be:

We imagine that you bring 5-10 years of chartering experience within the chemical or product tanker market and have built a well-established network within the international shipping industry. You combine commercial instinct with a structured approach and are comfortable navigating complex negotiations and market dynamics.

Additionally, you:

• Possess an established network within the international shipping industry
• Demonstrate business acumen and negotiation skills
• Communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing. Danish language skills are preferred
• Have solid IT skills
