Job summary

Dell Technologies is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer, Security Resiliency Platforms (Pre-Sales) in Copenhagen. You will serve as the technical presales lead for strategic customers, shaping security and resiliency solutions tied to business outcomes.

You will build relationships with CISOs and CIOs, run risk workshops, design end-to-end architectures, and deliver compelling PoCs and proposals while collaborating with Sales, Product and Services teams. Fluency in English, Danish helpful.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in technical presales or consultative solution selling
• Experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure, or hybrid cloud
• Fluency in English; Danish language helpful for Danish market

Responsibilities

• Build and lead technical relationships with security and IT leadership (CISO, CIO, Heads of Infrastructure, Risk & Compliance) in large enterprise accounts
• Run discovery and risk-focused workshops to understand security requirements, resilience objectives and regulatory constraints
• Design end-to-end security and resiliency architectures using Dell Technologies platforms and services (data protection, cyber recovery, Zero Trust)
• Deliver compelling technical presentations, demos and proofs of concept, articulating how solutions mitigate risk and support business outcomes
• Validate solution fit by collaborating with customer teams to assess integration into existing security stack and operations; guide cross-functional teams on architecture and migration

What you’ll achieve:

As a Senior Systems Engineer in Security Resiliency Platforms, you will be the technical presales lead for our most strategic customers. You will shape the overall Dell Technologies security and resiliency solution by understanding customers’ risk posture, compliance needs and business priorities, and mapping them to our portfolio of data protection, cyber recovery and security platforms and services.

• Build and lead technical relationships with security and IT leadership (CISO, CIO, Heads of Infrastructure, Risk & Compliance) in highly sophisticated customer accounts
• Run discovery and risk-focused workshops to understand security requirements, resilience objectives and regulatory constraints, and anticipate needs beyond the current solution scope
• Design end-to-end security and resiliency architectures using Dell Technologies platforms and services (e.g. data protection, cyber recovery, Zero Trust–aligned architectures), producing high-quality proposals, bills of materials and design documents
• Deliver compelling technical presentations, demos and proofs of concept, clearly articulating how our solutions mitigate risk, enhance resilience and support business outcomes
• Validate solution fit and operability by working with customer technical teams to assess integration into their existing security stack, infrastructure and operational processes. Lead advanced systems integration discussions, providing technical expertise across storage, data protection, cyber recovery, identity, networking and cloud to ensure a secure, scalable and supportable solution design. Collaborate closely with Sales, Product and Services teams to shape opportunities, respond to RFPs/RFIs and provide feedback from the field to influence roadmap and go-to-market

Here’s what we are looking for in this role:

• 8–12 years of experience in technical presales or consultative solution selling, ideally within cybersecurity, infrastructure, or hybrid cloud, working with large enterprise accounts.
• Strong communication, executive‑level presentation and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to engage C‑level stakeholders (CISO, CIO, CTO) and act as a trusted security advisor.
• Deep understanding of security and resiliency domains, including data protection, backup & recovery, BC/DR, cyber recovery, Zero Trust principles, and industry frameworks such as NIST or ISO; plus familiarity with SecOps tooling (e.g., SIEM, SOAR, EPP).
• Ability to translate business, compliance, and risk requirements into practical solution architectures, balancing technical depth with business outcomes and collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Relevant education and certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP) are preferred, along with fluency in English; additional languages (Danish) for engaging across the Danish market.
