Job summary

EG Housing, part of EG A/S, is seeking a student assistant to learn by doing real design work for EG Bolig, EG ProBo Extra and EG ProBo Associations. You will design, test, and iterate on UI concepts in Figma, while collaborating with our product teams and an experienced Senior UX Designer.

You should be studying a relevant bachelor’s programme, or have recently started a master’s. Fluent English is required; Danish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Studying a relevant bachelor’s programme, or recently started a master’s programme.
• Comfort with Figma or a similar design/prototyping tool.
• Strong grasp of UX and interaction design fundamentals from studies or projects.
• Curious, asks questions and enjoys giving/receiving feedback.

Responsibilities

• Design wireframes, prototypes and UI designs in Figma in collaboration with the product teams.
• Take part in design reviews and influence design decisions.
• Help prepare and run user tests and translate feedback into better solutions.
• Maintain and improve design components and documentation.
• Work closely with our Senior UX Designer on EG Bolig, EG ProBo Extra and EG ProBo Associations.

At EG Housing, part of EG A/S, we build the best software for housing administration in Denmark. Our products are EG Bolig, EG ProBo Extra and EG ProBo Associations.

As part of the department

We are looking for a student assistant who wants to learn by doing real design work, and who is ready to take on real responsibility from day one. We welcome applications from both Danish and international candidates living in Denmark.

Your Task : Design, Test, Improve, Repeat

• Work side by side with our product teams, and especially our Senior UX Designer, on EG Bolig, EG ProBo Extra and EG ProBo Associations.
• Create wireframes, prototypes and UI designs in Figma.
• Take part in design reviews and have a real say in design decisions.
• Help prepare and run user tests, and turn the feedback into better solutions.
• Help maintain and improve our design components and documentation.

The tasks vary a lot. What you design will be used in production, by many thousands of people.

You are the ideal candidate if

• You are studying a relevant bachelor’s programme, or you have recently started a master’s programme.
• You are confident in Figma or a similar design and prototyping tool.
• You have a good grasp of UX and interaction design fundamentals, from your studies or projects, and you’re ready to put that into practice.
• You are curious, ask questions, and like giving and receiving feedback.

You speak and write English fluently. Danish is a plus, but not a requirement.

Note: Our office is currently in Lautrupvang, Ballerup, but we’re moving to new offices in Marmormolen, Nordhavn in January 2027.
