Job summary

Vitrolife Group in Aarhus seeks a UX/UI Designer to shape intuitive experiences for IVF-related products, blending medical devices, software and complex workflows. You will own UX/UI within a product development project, collaborating with Product Management, Product Owners, and software developers to deliver end-to-end solutions.

You will build design systems in Figma, drive user-centered decisions, and contribute to a consistent look and feel across our product ecosystem for a seamless patient

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design for digital products.
• Experience across the UX/UI process from concept to hi-fi designs ready for implementation.
• Proven methods in UX and translating insights into design decisions.
• Experience with Figma using design systems, components and patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive UX/UI activities within your product development project, from exploration through design and implementation.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Product Owner in early feature refinement with a user-centered focus.
• Translate user needs and domain knowledge into user flows, wireframes, prototypes and hi-fi UI designs.

About The Role

As a UX/UI Designer at Vitrolife, you will help shape intuitive and effective user experiences for our ecosystem of advanced IVF-related products, combining medical equipment, software, technology, and complex workflows in assisted reproduction.

You will take ownership of UX/UI within a product development project, working closely with Product Management, Product Owners, software developers, and domain experts. At the same time, you will be part of our UX/UI team, sparring with fellow designers and contributing to a consistent user experience across our products.

You will be based in Aarhus, where you will join the dedicated Software Development team of 27 colleagues.

Your impact

• Own and drive UX/UI activities within your product development project, from early feature exploration through design, refinement and implementation.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management and the Product Owner in the early refinement of features, bringing the user perspective into the exploration and definition of solutions.
• Translate user needs, domain knowledge, and product requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and hi-fi UI designs.
• Build an understanding of users, their workflows, needs, and challenges through Product Management, internal domain experts and, where relevant, direct user involvement, using these insights to inform and improve your designs.
• Work closely with software developers to create solutions that provide a strong user experience while considering technical possibilities and constraints.
• Develop design systems in Figma and contribute to a consistent look and feel across our products
• Facilitate design processes and collaborative sessions with stakeholders based on UX methods and drive progress
• Spar and share knowledge with your UX/UI colleagues and contribute to developing our UX/UI practices.

What you bring

• 3+ years of professional experience working with UX/UI design for digital products.
• Experience across the UX/UI process going from concepts, user flows, and prototypes to design deliverables ready for implementation.
• Experience with proven UX methods and interaction design and translating insights from users, stakeholders, and domain experts into clear and concrete design decisions.
• Experience working in Figma using design systems, components, and patterns.
• Experience working closely with software development teams and taking designs from concept through implementation.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating your design process, reasoning, user-centered solutions, and attention to detail.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with professional proficiency in English; Danish is a plus.
• Experience from healthcare, medical devices, life science, or other technology-driven industries is an advantage. Experience designing software that interacts with physical devices, instruments, or hardware is also a plus.
