Student Assistant – Technology Exploration - LKR Innovation House - Østbirk

Step into a role where you help bring theory to life through hands‑on material and digital innovation. With a curiosity for prototyping, exploratory technology work and emerging materials, you could be the Student Assistant who supports our next wave of innovation in the VELUX Group.

Meet your future team

You will join the Technology Exploration function, where you will support our work with emerging material technologies and digital exploration. The role is an on‑site student position for our office in Østbirk in Jutland of 12–20 hours per week, and your working hours can be adapted to your study schedule. You will be part of a young and dynamic core team of 5–8 colleagues, collaborating closely with more than 45 specialists across the department. The team values an informal tone, open knowledge sharing and a strong culture of mutual respect. Responsibility is given to those who can and will take it, and your contributions will play a meaningful role in driving our research and development activities forward.

What We Offer

  • Are enrolled in a relevant bachelor or master program in Denmark (for example within engineering or innovation)
  • Are proficient in Office 365, with advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI
  • Have an interest in prototype development, exploratory technology work and hands‑on implementation.
  • Possess full proficiency in English, both written and spoken
