Job summary

VELUX Group is seeking a Student Assistant for Technology Exploration in Østbirk. The role is on-site at our Østbirk office, 12–20 hours per week, designed to fit a student’s schedule.

You will assist with technology exploration, prototyping and data-driven insights, collaborating with a small team and a wider specialist network. Ideal candidates are enrolled in a Danish bachelor or master program, excel in Office 365 tools (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint) and communicate fluently in English.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a relevant bachelor or master program in Denmark (engineering or innovation suggested).
• Proficient in Office 365, with advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI skills.
• Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Build early-stage prototypes, mock-ups and simulation models for technology exploration projects.
• Assist in experimentation and evaluation of new technology concepts.
• Prepare clear communication for management around innovations and data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with workshop and lab stakeholders to support R&D activities.
