Job summary

Student Assistant – Technology Exploration - LKR Innovation House - Østbirk

Are you passionate about emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, and transforming complex information into clear, impactful communication? Do you enjoy using digital tools and AI to create insights, reports and compelling presentations? Then you could be the Student Assistant who supports our next wave of innovation in the VELUX Group.

Meet your future team

You will join our Technology Exploration function, where you will support our work with emerging material technologies and digital exploration. The role is an on-site student position for our office in Østbirk in Jutland of 12–20 hours per week, and your working hours can be adapted to your study schedule.

You will be part of a young and dynamic core team of 5–8 colleagues, collaborating closely with more than 45 specialists across the department. The team values an informal tone, open knowledge sharing and a strong culture of mutual respect. Responsibility is given to those who can and will take it, and your contributions will play a meaningful role in driving our research and development activities forward.

What we offer

In this role, you will support our technology exploration activities by helping transform information into actionable insights and clear communication. You will work at the intersection of technology and business utilizing artificial intelligence, utilizing modern AI tools to accelerate research, reporting and decision-making.

More specifically, your tasks will be to:

• Support technology intelligence activities by researching and monitoring emerging technologies, trends and innovation opportunities
• Utilize AI-based tools to gather, structure and synthesize information from multiple sources
• Create impactful presentations and communication materials that translate complex technical topics into clear business insights and value
• Support the preparation of strategic workshops, innovation reviews and technology portfolio discussions
• Continuously explore new AI tools and digital methods that can improve how we work with technology exploration

What you will bring

You are curious about technology and AI, enjoy working with information and communication, and have a structured and analytical mindset. You are comfortable navigating complex topics and can transform technical content into clear and engaging communication tailored to different audiences.

Moreover, we expect that you:

• Are enrolled in a relevant bachelor or master program in Denmark (for example within business, communication, engineering or data science)
• Are proficient in Office 365, with advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI
• Have experience using AI tools
• Possess excellent communication and storytelling skills, both visually and in writing
• Possess full proficiency in English, both written and spoken
