Job summary

PEAK Wind is seeking a Strategy Consultant to join our Strategic Consulting team, supporting international clients across project lifecycles and delivering O&M strategy projects for offshore wind players.

You will lead client workshops, develop O&M and portfolio strategies, analyse business cases, and help shape operating models and service offerings in a fast-paced, international environment.

Strategy Consultant within Wind Energy/ Renewables

PEAK Wind is seeking a Strategy Consultant for our Strategic Consulting team to support international clients across all project lifecycle phases and deliver O&M strategy projects for both new and well-established offshore wind players.

Introducing the Strategic Consulting Team

You will become part of our international Strategic Consulting team, where we work closely with colleagues and subject matter experts across PEAK Wind, driving strategic projects for renewable energy clients worldwide. Our team consists of highly motivated professionals who bring diverse backgrounds and a strong commitment to excellence. Based in one of our offices in Denmark (Copenhagen or Aarhus) or Germany (Hamburg), you will be part of an international team supporting renewable energy clients worldwide. You will report to the Head of Strategic Consulting.

How You Will Make an Impact

As a Strategy Consultant, you will contribute to the success of our clients and renewable energy projects by leading strategic assignments across a broad range of O&M topics.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Run client-facing workstreams end-to-end, leading and facilitating client meetings and workshops, managing client relationships, and identifying client engagement opportunities
• Deliver strategy and improvement projects with both short-term and long-term perspectivesusing management consulting best practices and leveraging PEAK Wind’s O&M and Asset Management expertise
• Manage projects and execute and deliver relevant analyses
• Develop concepts for O&M portfolio strategies, O&M strategies and plans for specific assets and sites, and improvement and turnaround projects
• Identify improvement, cost optimisation, and process optimisation opportunities
• Analyse key optimisation drivers for offshore wind O&M, assess project-specific business cases, and develop roadmaps
• Support clients through the contractual landscape of operations (service agreements, operator and asset management agreements) and how it shapes their operating model
• Develop new and optimise existing PEAK Wind service offerings based on our clients’ needs within the Strategic Consulting team

• 2+ years of professional experience across relevant industries in the energy sector or another complex environment such as management consulting. Offshore wind experience is an advantage, not a requirement
• A relevant degree in engineering, business or economics, combined with genuine interest in technical and operational matters
• A structured approach to problem-solving and the ability to take initiative
• An analytical and strategic mindset with the ability to apply it to the practical world of offshore wind
• The ability to simplify complex issues and turn them into clear, easily understandable messages in PowerPoint and Word for audiences ranging from engineers to Steering Committee members
• Demonstrated project management competencies and the ability to lead project teams
• An open, collaborative mindset, a proactive attitude, and the ability to build strong relationships
• The ability to thrive in an international, fast-paced and complex environment and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
• Clear and effective communication skills in English, both spoken and written
• A commercial instinct, noticing where PEAK Wind can add further value to an existing client or approach a new one
