Job summary

Scan Global Logistics seeks a Head of Tender Management Europe to lead complex tender opportunities for global strategic accounts. You will drive the end-to-end lifecycle, coordinate with sales, product teams and customers, and develop pricing strategies to win new business and protect existing revenue.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, strong leadership and advanced Excel skills, with an international, Europe-wide scope.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in freight forwarding or logistics with tender management.
• 5+ years managing global air and ocean freight tenders.
• Experience on the customer side is a plus.
• Strong analytics, finance and pricing experience.
• Proven project management and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic tender opportunities through full life cycle from evaluation to delivery.
• Qualify and analyze bid material against Tender Management criteria.
• Define project scope and deliverables to satisfy customer requirements.
• Communicate strategy and actions via email, MS Teams, and calls.
• Develop pricing rate sheets and compile industry charges from multiple sources.
• Represent primary contact between SGL sales, product teams, and customers.
• Manage multiple tenders to meet timelines and processes.
• Provide timely business analysis to decision-makers for each opportunity.
