Job summary

JBT Marel in Aarhus seeks a Strategic Purchaser to manage selected component categories for our Aarhus production. You will work with Procurement, Production, Planning, Engineering, and Supply Chain, combining strategic sourcing, supplier management and continuous improvement in a dynamic international setting.

You will drive category strategies, negotiate contracts, monitor supplier performance and contribute to cost reductions while collaborating across functions in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in strategic procurement, preferably in manufacturing and with electrical components.
• Commercially strong with confident negotiations.
• Strong understanding of electronic components.
• Excel skills; SAP ECC and PLM experience are advantages.
• Fluent in Danish and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Category management and development of procurement strategies for electrical components.
• Contract negotiations and pricing discussions.
• Supplier performance management and consolidation.
• Market analysis, benchmarking and risk assessment.
• Support development projects with procurement expertise.
