Job summary

Demant A/S is seeking a commercially driven Category Manager to own a portfolio focused on electro-mechanical components and assemblies across our diagnostic medical devices portfolio. You will blend strategic sourcing, supplier management and cost optimisation while collaborating with R&D, Operations and QA/RA in a regulated medical device environment.

You will define and execute category strategies, optimise supplier portfolios and drive cost efficiency initiatives.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in engineering, supply chain, procurement or business.
• Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement and/or category management in manufacturing or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies for supplier development, quality and cost.
• Drive cost effectiveness initiatives and supplier portfolio optimisation.
• Negotiate agreements and build long-term supplier relationships.
• Drive supplier segmentation, SRM, consolidation and performance management.
• Ensure contract management and compliance with QA/RA and other functions.
• Collaborate across R&D, Operations and QA/RA to align categories.
