Job summary

RTX A/S in Denmark seeks a Strategic Sourcing Manager to advance our Category Management and drive value across the supply base. You will collaborate with Engineering, R&D and Operations to shape sourcing strategies, reduce costs and strengthen supply resilience.

Based at our headquarters in Nørresundby, you will report to the Director, Global Sourcing, and lead initiatives across components, suppliers and EMS partners in a global tech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, procurement or supplier management.
• Proficient with spend analysis, market data and sourcing strategies.
• Experience from manufacturing or technology-driven environments, preferably electronics/EMS.
• Understand interaction between sourcing, Engineering and R&D.
• Strong negotiation skills with contracts, suppliers and cost optimization.
• Analytical, structured, able to turn complex information into clear recommendations.
• Persistent, able to drive initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
• Professional English and Danish in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies based on spending, market and supplier analysis.
• Identify and execute cost reduction through bundling, standardization and supplier consolidation.
• Develop second-source and dual-source solutions to reduce supply risk.
• Collaborate with Engineering and R&D on components and specifications.
• Build market and supplier intelligence to support sourcing decisions.
• Negotiate strategic prices, contracts and commercial terms.
• Strengthen collaboration with EMS partners and focused supplier setup.
• Support initiatives that improve long‑term delivery performance and supply resilience.
