Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Category Manager – IT to lead IT sourcing strategies for the EMEA region, partnering with CIOs and business stakeholders to deliver value and optimize costs. You will manage IT sub-categories across multiple countries, drive complex negotiations, and oversee supplier relationships at a regional level.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, governance knowledge, and ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed international environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in IT Sourcing, Strategic Sourcing, or Commodity/Category Management within a complex, global environment.
• Demonstrated experience working across IT, IT sourcing, or IT program management roles with strong commercial accountability.

Responsibilities

• Defining and executing regional IT sourcing strategies in close partnership with the EMEA CIO organization and IT leadership teams.
• Acting as a strategic commercial partner to senior IT stakeholders, ensuring sourcing and contracting decisions deliver the right balance of cost efficiency, performance, service quality, and business outcomes.
• Building, developing, and sustaining strong, trust-based relationships with key strategic suppliers and partners across the IT ecosystem.
• Planning and lead complex, high-impact negotiations across Telecom, End User Services, IT Resellers, Mobility, and Leasing categories across multiple EMEA countries.
• Owning and managing Telecom, Voice, and Mobility contracts across the region, while supporting and enabling End User Services (EUS) programs.
• Leading regional RFx processes, Statements of Work (SOWs), and commercial engagements across EMEA IT services.
• Collaborating effectively with regional and global sourcing teams to ensure alignment, leverage scale, and share best practices.
• Partnering closely with Finance, Vendor Management, Compliance, and Legal subject matter experts to structure, negotiate, and execute high-value commercial agreements, including Master Services Agreements, Enterprise License Agreements, Master Product Agreements, SOWs, Leasing Agreements, and NDAs.
• Staying informed on market, technology, and industry trends impacting IT sourcing decisions and proactively incorporate insights into category strategies.
