Phanofi, a DTU spin-out developing next-gen optical interconnect chips, seeks a Head of Business Development to drive commercial growth and lead the go-to-market strategy for AI datacenters, quantum computing, and space applications.

Reporting to the CEO, you will build the business development function, lead partnerships and funding initiatives, and represent Phanofi globally in a highly visible, strategic role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business development or commercial leadership within photonics, semiconductor, deep-tech, or related technologies.
• Proven track record securing strategic partnerships, commercial agreements, or funding opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute Phanofi’s business development strategy and KPIs.
• Build and maintain strategic industry partnerships across data communications, semiconductors, and photonics.
• Conduct market research and translate technical innovations into commercial opportunities.
• Represent Phanofi at conferences, trade shows, and external communications.
