Job summary

Pedestal, a Danish interior brand, is seeking a Financial Controller to strengthen and develop our finance function as we grow. You will work closely with the CEO and leadership team on financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and strategic insights.

The role blends hands-on financial controlling with business partnering across the organization, driving smarter processes, improving automation, and providing board-ready analyses to support decision making.

Qualifications

Solid experience in finance, accounting and business controlling.
Experience with fashion, design or lifestyle brands is a plus.
Strong ability to turn numbers into actionable insights.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Drive budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and KPI reporting.
Ensure accurate financial reporting and provide insights to the business.
Improve and streamline financial processes through automation.
Prepare business cases, strategic analyses and board material.
Act as a trusted business partner to the owners, leadership team and colleagues across the organization.
Work closely with the CEO, providing financial insight and sparring on both operational and strategic matters.
