Job summary

Accell Group in Odense is seeking a proactive Business Controller to lead the local finance team and bridge day-to-day operations with the global finance structure.

You will oversee month-end closing, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting, working closely with the Finance Manager and stakeholders across the Danish function.

The role combines hands-on control, people leadership and strategic support, with a focus on compliance, reporting accuracy and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in controlling, with exposure to accounting and FP&A.
• Experience with month-end closing, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Solid understanding of Danish bookkeeping and tax compliance.
• Leadership skills and experience in financial decision-making within a team.
• Fluent in Danish and English.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Danish finance team and ensure structured task execution.
• Oversee month-end closing for accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage local budgets and forecasts aligned with group requirements.
• Drive cash flow forecasting and reporting.
• Prepare management decks for leadership reviews.
• Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with Danish bookkeeping and tax regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors and support transfer pricing documentation.
