Job summary

Novo Nordisk seeks a senior Data & AI Architecture lead to shape technology strategy and drive scalable architecture across the organization. You will connect enterprise tech with business needs, data governance, and emerging AI capabilities in a federated, matrix setup.

You will guide data platform design, cloud adoption, and governance, ensuring compliant, secure data solutions for analytics and AI products across global teams. Strong leadership and stakeholder influence are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in data, computer science, information management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Data Architecture Strategy - Develop and execute a comprehensive data and analytics architecture strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Data Platform Design and Implementation - Lead design of scalable data and analytics platforms including cloud, AI, master data management, data quality, data visualisation, and data cataloguing.
• Solution Architecture for Data and AI Products - Oversee design and implementation of data and AI products with efficient data movement, transformation, accessibility, analytics, and reporting.
• Advanced Analytics and AI Architecture - Provide leadership for advanced analytics and ML by establishing platform infrastructure and tools.
• Cloud and On-Premises Architecture - Define hybrid-cloud and on-premises data architecture solutions and select technologies for workloads.
• Data and AI Security and Governance - Ensure solutions follow governance and security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Technology Roadmap and Governance - Define technology roadmap and governance for data, analytics and AI; manage vendor relationships.
• Thought Leadership - Stay current with trends and represent the organisation in industry events.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with tech and business teams to align AI solutions with business architecture.
• Compliance and Risk Management - Ensure data activities comply with global regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Performance and People - Manage analytics portfolio, track progress, and develop talent.
