Job summary

Saab Danmark A/S seeks an experienced Bid Manager to lead the full bid lifecycle for defense and security solutions, aligning technical capabilities with customer needs. You will orchestrate cross-functional teams from qualification through to contract award, ensuring compliant, high-quality submissions.

The role requires strategic leadership, deep analysis of RFPs/ITTs, and strong negotiation skills, with travel as needed in Denmark and abroad. A background in defense/aerospace is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field is required.
• 3–5 years of bid, proposal, or project management experience within defense/aerospace/tech sectors preferred.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end bid lifecycle from qualification to contract award.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, high-quality proposals.
• Manage bid budgets and timelines, mitigating risks.
• Coordinate internal and external review cycles and incorporate feedback.
• Provide input on proposal content and commercial terms during negotiations.
• Leverage market trends and customer insights to sharpen competitiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement of bid processes and tools.
