Job summary

Saab Danmark A/S is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to lead the full bid lifecycle for defense and security solutions. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, high-quality proposals aligned with Saab's strategic goals and customer needs.

The role requires 3–5 years in bid, proposal, or project management within defense or complex technology sectors, plus strong regulatory knowledge and English communication skills. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of bid, proposal, or project management experience within defense, aerospace, or complex technology sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end bid lifecycle from qualification to contract award.
• Orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact proposals.
• Formulate winning bid strategies in collaboration with Sales, Engineering, Legal, and Finance.
• Conduct analyses of RFPs/ITTs to meet customer requirements.
• Craft compelling, technically accurate proposals with clarity and professionalism.
• Manage bid budgets and timelines, mitigating risks to ensure on-time submissions.
• Coordinate internal and external reviews and integrate feedback.
• Provide input on content and commercial terms during negotiations.
• Leverage market trends and customer insights to sharpen Saab's edge.
• Drive continuous improvement of bid management tools and methodologies.
