Job summary

Lundbeck is seeking a Director, Head of Architecture & Design to lead the Architecture & Design function within Commercial Digital Enablement, aligning digital, data and AI initiatives with business goals in Copenhagen.

You will coach a team of five architecture specialists, shape a scalable operating model, and ensure design choices are practical, compliant by design and anchored in commercial value while engaging senior leaders across delivery, data and security.

Qualifications

• More than 10 years in digital transformation or architecture leadership.
• Proven experience leading senior specialists in a complex organisation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience establishing governance and decision forums.
• Solid understanding of commercial/customer-facing platforms, data and AI.
• Ability to balance business urgency with team capacity and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Architecture & Design team with clear accountability.
• Shape an operating model with defined design authority and decision rights.
• Create a shared view of scalable architecture and design anchored in commercial value.
• Ensure capabilities are designed with reuse, adoption and ownership in mind.
• Engage business stakeholders early to align key design decisions.
• Challenge vendors on integration, scalability, cost, and long-term flexibility.
• Represent Architecture & Design in cross-functional forums with business-focused communication.
