Job summary
The University of Copenhagen invites applications for a Staff Scientist position in Biomolecular Sciences within the Department of Biology. You will contribute to research, supervision, and teaching across projects in molecular biology and protein science, starting January 1, 2027.

Qualifications
- MSc or PhD in Biochemistry or a related area.
- Experience in protein expression and purification.
- Experience with SDS-PAGE and Western blotting.
- Knowledge of bioinformatics and structural biology.
- Molecular cloning experience.
- Tissue culture of established cell lines.
- Flow cytometry or FACS knowledge.
- Experience with high throughput screening techniques.
Responsibilities
- Carry out basic and advanced molecular biology and protein chemistry work.
- Collaborate with researchers from diverse scientific backgrounds.
- Support ongoing research in two groups with troubleshooting and development.
- Share best practices and train colleagues and students.
- Organise and participate in teaching labs for undergraduates.
- Assist with lab safety, purchasing, and chemical waste handling.
